As a Foster Grandparent, you are a role model, a mentor, and a compassionate friend. There are thousands of local organizations where you can make a difference, such as Head Start centers, schools, faith-based groups, and other youth facilities. Whether it’s helping children learn to read, providing one-to-one tutoring, or guiding children at a critical time in their lives, your gift of comfort and love sets a child on the path toward a successful future.
Serve up to 40 hours per week
You may qualify to earn a tax-free, hourly stipend
Receive pre-service orientation and training from the organization
Covered by supplemental accident and liability insurance while on duty
